Well the last couple of days I've been experimenting playing 9 tables at once instead of the usual 4 or 6. Although it's pretty hectic I kept up with the pace ok and didnt keep the other players waiting all the time (one of my pet hates). The trouble is, it's not proved very profitable lol. Lost about £200 on Wed then about another £450 on Thu afternoon. Now even though 6 tables is keeping fairly busy, I do still take in a fair bit of info on how other players are playing, however, I found that there was no chance at all playing 9. I remember Smart Money saying on the forum a couple of weeks ago that he knows what he's going to do in any situation almost instantly the next table pops up and I'm pretty similar myself, but even though its only been two days and not really long enough to determine whether 9 tables is the future, I've already decided to go back to playing 6. As in stick to what I know best.

Last night was pool night. I joined a local team that a mate plays for about a year ago and was doing ok even though I'm not a big fan of 8-ball (much prefer American 9-ball). Anyway, due to work, other commitments then just getting out of the habit of going, I haven't been since about last October so I've decided to start going again. I can probably only make it once every 3 weeks due to my work shifts but I will go whenever I can. Was well pissed off with my match last night. Even though I've not played for so long I played 3 quick practice games when I got in the pub winning all 3 of them, 2 being clearances from my first shot so I was on fire. However, when it came down to the match, with the pressure on to finish I had one yellow left and played what I thought was shot of the century but then watched the white coming off the 3rd cushion nicely for the black and then go in the middle pocket. Bastard !!! :( . So the other guy pots his 2 easy reds and MY black and wins the game. Not a good ending but thats cricket.

I then got back home just before midnight and was well pissed. Went and woke the better half up to say hello :) then back downstairs on the old laptop in time for the NTX. I was actually seeing double. My laptop just wouldnt stay in one piece, it kept blurring into two different computers and I was struggling. After about 20 minutes I was chip leader on about 10k then the usual I cant be arsed syndrome kicked it and I just gambled it all away in about 4 hands.

So off to the cash tables, playing four £.50-1 and two £1-2 and I've gotta say I was fucking awesome. After a bad start it just seemed that everything I did was golden, plus hitting quite a few sets obviously helped lol. Was about £250 down after about an hour but turned it around and ended up about £700 up. Which is nice. Time got to about 4 o'clock and my head was well spinning and I felt like puking by then so that was that.

Anyway, now I've just got up and I'd rather my head was spinning instead of this bleeding pain :(. And its all gotta be done again tomorrow on another all-dayer for the Cup Final. Come on the redsssss waheyyyyyyyyyyy.

Well I've been having nightmare problems with Crypto since their latest update a few days ago. Problems in the sense that I can't even get on the friggin site. To cut a long story short, (after I have checked all appropriate setting etc) they have now just said "William Hill Poker is working fine, it must be something to do with your computer"!!!!! Well fuck you, you arseholes. Everything works perfectly as usual except any crypto poker site - oh what a coincidence!!! Anyway, they're having none of it and no-one seems to be able to help so that looks like the end of Crypto, at leats for the time being. Am well pissed off as I was heading for a 12/18 seat freeroll for a WSOP package with points earned.

So I've ended up downloading Betfair again (tried it once after they went their own way and said never again). I was very dubious at first especially once I looked at the lobby and had a bit of a play around with it. Dont like it whatsoever!!!! It may be good for all the tourney players but thats no bleeding use to me since I play 95% cash rooms. Plus, they've still got that 'Choose how many tables' shit!!!! I mean What the fuck is that all about!!!! As I'm still using my old laptop, with its low resolution, I cant play more than 2 tables at the same time, never been so bored in my life.

Anyway, I stuck £1,000 in there and have been playing the $1/2 tables two at a time for last couple of days since Friday. The standard seems pretty dire (thought it IS weekend lol) with a few exceptions. Am up about £760 so cant complain so far, will have to see how it goes.

Work now beckons, flippin night shifts too, was supposed to be off but have had to go in, was well looking forward to the time off too. Am only working till thu night though then got a poker game at someones house next Friday night, should be good.

Dare I say.........I run gooooood .

Well touch-wood, there seems to be a bit of light at the end of the poker tunnel. Up another £420 from about 4 hours play this afternoon. So the last 2 days I've got half the £2.4k I lost in the last week. Am noticing quite a lot of hands and comments in the chat box regarding the way I play, so changing a few things 2 days ago has confused the fishstations. Long may it continue.

Took my car in earlier to get the rattling noise sorted on the exhaust. It no longer rattles as it was doing. Happy daysssssss?????
Oh fucking no!!!! Went for a spin in it to make sure it was fixed. It now makes a DIFFERENT rattling noise which is worse than before. Fucking pillocks. Couldnt be arsed going back again so will ring em up 2mora prob and give them hell.

Holy Jesus. At flippin last. Actually had a winning day today for what seem like the first time in ages. Had all day off work, so actually had 3 session today (on poker !!! ;) ). Won about 600 this afternoon, 100 in the evening then when the g/f went to bed I thought I'd have another go while I'm running OK. Anyway, managed about another 250ish. Am about 900 on the day which I well needed after the past few days.

If it had gone the other way, then the Bankroll was very quickly disappearing. I still had more than my fair share of those damn 2-outers today after the money went in. I reckon I musta been done by 4 or less about 20 times today and I dont even remember hitting one for myself. Fortunately I hit quite a few sets today and got paid off on most of them. Have tried to tighten up a bit today too, even though I thought I was playing ok the last week there's been times when I could have avoided losing SOME of the money. Anyway, alls well that ends well, for today anyway.

Gotta take car into Vauxhall in about 7 hours to get the rattling exhaust fixed so best get some kip. Even Vauxhall tried dicking me saying they couldn't "book me in" for another 2 weeks. Fucking arseholes. Loads of myther getting the new car in the first place, get it with a dud exhaust, then they try fobbing me off.
Anyway, they soon saw sense after I had a go at em so suddenly they can fit me in 24 hours later. Only got 2mora left before I go back to work for a week of 12 hour shifts. Nooooooooooo

How fucking long can this absolute fucking bullshit go on for. Beyond me anyway. Not had 1 winning day at poker in about the last 10 with every one just fucking bullshit outdraw after outdraw as the money goes in. Playing £.50/1 rooms, 4 at a time and down £2.3k in last 4 fucking days alone with about 95% of it to the absolute worst shite fucking arseholes on the whole site. Not a fucking brain cell between them but yeah call call call call call call oh look theres my gutshot on the river. Never seen so much joke bullshit in all my life.

If it wasnt for the fact that I now need to play to pay for my car, i'd be uninstalling this shit forever. Can't take any more of this wanky shit, more than had enough of it!!!!!
Just fucking typical, I get the fucking car I always wanted, then all this shit starts happening straight away, now I cant even fucking stop or its goodbye car!!!!.

Not played any poker for a couple of days. Thought I'd give it a short break to clear my head from this shite run. Went out on the piss last night round Manchester on a colleagues Leaving Doo. Was about 20 of us out altogether at 3 o'clock. 10 hours laters there's just me and 2 other guys wasted in Tiger Tiger in the Printworks. I'd actually got that pissed that I'd sobered up by then (if you know what I mean) and just felt like shit. Had to get out of there so went and got a pizza and taxi home hiccupping like fuck.

Done sweet F.A. today, just sat here feeling like death with Kerry running around after me :). She's a goodun. Gotta get my sorry ass up from the settee in a minute to go have a shower. Off to watch Cirque Eclipse at the Lowry. Apparently its a musical circus so should be pretty good. Am on another all dayer Saturday round Macclesfield and then probably Manchester. About 40 of us going so no doubt Sunday will be another hangover lol :(

Well things aren't too rosy at the minute. Down about £1.5k last 3 days now and can't get out of it. Even ended up stepping up limits again on tilt at one point like you do. Hey fucking presto, 3rd hand in I get fucked up the ass by yet another 2-outer after the money goes in after the turn. Fortunately I ended up grinding the tilt losses away but the bankroll seems to be dropping nearly every time I play lately.
I think I've only been through 2 really bad runs before - this is definately the third :(

Am still playing on old laptop after smacking my other one again back to playing only 4 tables which is also driving me mad again as well as dropping 1/3 of my rakeback. Bitch!!!!. Talking of rakeback, got an email yesterday saying "invited peoples" cakeback is going up to 55% depending on what they rake. That will put me on 45% so there must be a catch. We'll see anyway.

Got a week off work now so gonna go out on the piss a couple of times plus try and get a bit of poker in when our Doris isn't twining about me being on my lappy.

Am I enjoying poker?????.

Well, just finished playing about 4/5 hours worth of poker and was getting seriously wound up ranting on probably 3 tables at the same time. The thing is I was actually winning on a couple of them plus a couple of others too. Am feeling that I need a break from it for a week or two, however, I now need to play to get the rakeback that is paying for my car. Looks like I've dug myself a nice hole lol.

Halfway through it all I (once again) ended up sat on a £25/50 table with 3k about to play heads up with another shithouse who'd issued a challenge. I need to stop doing this - I've sat down on £10/20 tables about 15 times in all now (only played twice coz they usually bottle out of it when I'm there)., however, one day I'll probably blow my whole roll (again) through a few minutes of madness.
Been thinking about turning chat off but I've got to know quite a few people at the tables and have a good bit of banter sometimes, plus if it's turned off I'd probably just flick the switch so I can argue with the fish (yes I know but I can't help it lol). Anyway, enough of that ranting, at the end of the day I was about 500 Denks up so I should be happy.

Back at work again after a few days off (no not sick this time!!!!!:) ) Really bored of it after just one day and have had to chuck my Sunday day turn in again coz its realllllly boring, so thats another 200 Denks down on the paypacket already. Anyway, 2 more late shifts, then 3 earlies next week then another week of rest days off with a few piss-ups in the pipeline. Also booked a couple of tickets to take 'our Doris' to go see Cirque Eclipse (something like that). Apparently it's a musical circus so she'll enoy that (and me too prob). Have told her we're going out but it's a surprise where.
I took her to see Riverdance last year at the Palace Theatre and that was well top - no lolololing :) lol.

Oh yeah, am typing on my repaired lappy now (after battering shit out of it again a bit ago), tis miles better for the poker too as I can now play 6 tables again instead of just 4 and being bored out of my skull. I must remember to be nice to it from now on. Am lucky that a guy I work with know some stuff about computers so he's sorted it all out for me again for freemans. Top geezer.

Well, settled in back at work now on my week of nights :-((((((. Absolutely knackered as I had to get up after a few hours kip to go out cruising in the 'Beast' waheyyyyyy. The car is well awesome, the only problem is I can't find anyone to give me a good race, not that I would of course ;) I need to calm it down a bit actually until it's bedded in, it'd be just my luck to fuck the engine up.

Only played about an hour today, after 10 minutes, I was already getting well pissed off with some muppet who min-raised my blind every single time from the button. So after reraising him big amounts a few times and showing him 84o, 29o etc etc when he folded, I soon had him all in with my AA which held up. Finished about 3/4 of a buy-in up so not bad I suppose since I got muppetted a couple of times.

Well its 19:45 and I gotta be at work in an hour :((((((((( Been off for 2 1/2 weeks sue to sickness and a week of days off anyway, so tonight my first shift back - not looking forward to it at all.
Saw my boss yesterday and he's put me on the initial Managing for Attendance procedure for sickness, ie he'll be watching me for 12 months lol.

Poker absolutely doing my brain in last 2 days due to only being able to play 4 tables on my old laptop instead of my usual 6. Can't believe how much difference it actually makes. Had absolute garbage for the the whole 2 days too which doesn't help. Deff need to get my other lappy sorted. Found a massive stationfish with a $850 stack in a $1/2 room, sat there to his left for about 2 1/2 hours. Won one 200 pot in first 5 mins off him then my best hand after that was A3o lolol. Nightmare. Then of course someone else b-fox comes in the room and wipes him out within 30 minutes. What can you do.

Only other hand of note was my only AA of the day. 5 x bb raise, 1 caller and a flop a nice q94, I bet 10 and get reraised to 25, thought about rereraising (both about 90 Denk stacks) but just call, turn 7, check raise his 20 bet all in and he shows 77 lolol. Anyway, finished the day about 100 denks up so can't complain with all the shite hands I've had.

Tomorrow is D-Day. Finally picking my car up at 2 o'clock so I daresay I might not be online as much the rest of the week - gonna do some cruising. How sad am I !!!! lol

Well I've fucked up again. Even though I was quite a bit up on Friday, in the last 30 minutes I was playing, I must have had about 10 badbeats (2-outers) after the money had gone all in. Obviously I couldn't stop myself and chobbed my laptop about 10 times. Even though it worked ok for the rest of the day (other than the initial reset when I smacked it), when I came to use it on Saturday it wouldn't boot up - it looks like I've broke the hard disk :( :( :(. So not a happy bunny.

As it happens, I didn't have time to play any poker over the weekend, went out Saturday night with Kerry and 2 other couples and got absolutely wasted. Has to come home early (about 01:30) as my uncontrollable hiccups were killing me. Plus it was no good for my street-cred standing there with a pint of water lolol.
Sunday was just spent living in a world of shit with my massive hangover. Fortunately, I've got a nice girlfriend who ran round after me all day. Think I'll do the hangover trick more often lol.

Some good news though, Vauxhall say my car should be ready for Tue or Wed AT LAST. I ordered the new Astra VXR a few weeks ago and have had a right load of myther with it ie them telling me they just need to pop over to another Vauxhall place and pick it up - I found out a week later that the thing was 1) in fucking Zeebrugge and 2) had been 'lost in the system' due to the computers crashing - My fukking arse you inept tossers!!!. Anyway, we'll see if it arrives so I can give this Corsa Hire Car back, it's not the most comfortable thing to driver when you're 6ft 3.

Off to go and see my boss in a few minutes, have to see him about my 'poor sickness record' before I can return to work lol.Think I'll have to take my laptop to PC World so they can rip me off too!!!

Howdo folks. For those who don't know me, I am Captain Kirk, king of the multi-micro-tables at £.50/1. I am 6 ft 3 and built like a brick shithouse so beware lol. I work on the railways as a Signaller in the Stockport area,in one of the busiest manual 'boxes in the country. At present living in sin with my girlfriend in Stockport, GREATER Manchester. We're currently in the middle of buying a new house in the area but Barratts the arseholes keep putting it back and back (I think they keep laying a few bricks but the locals keep nicking them).

Anyway, I've always liked gambling ever since I was on holiday with my family when I was about 11 and my cousin taught me how to play 3 card brag. I cleaned him and my mate out that fortnight (of about £8.12) and knew from then on that gambling was the future lolol.

I then went to secondary school and from 3rd year (aged 13) played cards probably about 5 nights a week for about the 3 years, playing 3 card brag, 5/7 card stud, crash, pontoon and of course poker (in our shite basic form).

Cutting to about 7 years ago and I then lived in a bachelors pad with a couple of my mates. This was when the gambling addiction really took hold (if you discount the fruit machine addiction already obtained). For 3 years it was a total gambling den - usually people round for a game of cards and to go on the fruity we'd bought (obviously I eventually smashed the fucker up and had to pay my mate the 200 Denks we agreed if that happened). Whilst all this was going on, American Racing was on the TV 7 nights a week and I must have lost countless thousands despite a few Baldy Barry Faulkner 25-1 tips. The odd time racing wasn't on, we'd be having a tenner on who gets picked on Blind Date or which family won on Family Fortunes, then of course the double or quits on the Big Money lolol. Those were the days.

Soooooo, I eventually decide to stop gambling on the fruities and really cut down on the horses and sorted my finances out. So three years after moving in, I got my own gaffe and have never looked back.

Then it happened. Although already working for the railway, I decided on a career change within the company and went on a course to be a Signaller. And who did I meet there. The one, the only QueenPrawno. Yep, I met Hawko on that 7 week nightmare of a course in Crewe and have stayed really good mates since (despite quite a few arguments lolol) and also despite him telling me later he thought I was just a geek when he met me lolololol. Cheers bitch.

Anyway, course over and a few months later Hawko's on the blower saying that poker is the future. Next thing you know I win about 1k playing £1/2 on my first day playing just 1 or 2 rooms. How the hell I did that I'll never know but obviously I wasnt gonna stop there since it was that easy !!!! yeah right lolol. As it happened, over the next 9 months I'd built 200 Denks into a 10k bankroll . Trouble was, I was still shit and had never even heard of bankroll management. So eventually the inevitable happened and in a ouple of weeks I donked 8k on poker and the other 2k at the infamous Blackpool weekend where I met a few of the guys off the forum for the first time.

So, I took a break for about 3 months then in Oct 2005 put £200 into my account, started playing £.15/25 and started to try and take it seriously. Since then it has all gone pretty well, I am now playing £.50/1 with currently £9.7k bankroll and for the meantime this is where I'm staying at. I have also withdrawn £3k for eye laser surgery, £2k for a holiday and between £500-£1k per month in rake so its all superduper at the minute.

I cant go without mentioning Singapore. I got there through a team rake thingy, I dont know exactly how it all worked tbh but big thanks to Wonkyjim for getting me in it and away to Singapore. Actually, it's 5 in the morning now so Singapore will have to wait lol. I just hope that when I press enter all this bullshit doesnt disappear lolol.
